Das KSM8 Dualdyne Gesangsmikrofon ist das erste dynamische Mikrofon, das mit zwei Membranen ausgestattet ist, die eine neutrale und sehr präzise Stimmwiedergabe, akkuraten Sound und maximale Kontrolle des Nahbesprechungseffekts ermöglichen. Die patentierte Dualdyne Technologie weist lediglich marginale Nahbesprechungseffekte und außeraxiale Klangverfärbungen auf.

Der besonders widerstandsfähige Mikrofonkorb aus gehärtetem Stahl und wasserabweisendem Schaumstoff macht das Mikrofon nahezu wasserdicht und schützt vor Explosivlauten und Windeinflüssen.

The KSM8 is a very full-throated mic. It captures all the warmth and depth of Jennifer's vocal without losing the crispness of a lightly sung lyric, all the while maintaining its composure as she struts in front of the PA. The only feedback I’ve had isn’t from the mic – it’s from people talking about the mic!
The off-axis rejection is amazing. Low-frequency response is very smooth, and high-frequency response is noticeably enhanced. I definitely noticed nice proximity control, too. It’s an exceptionally well-designed microphone by Shure.
The first thing I noticed about the KSM8 was how nice it looked; however, its good looks were very soon eclipsed by how great it sounded. The highs sounded silky and transparent with an equally impressive and very tight low-end response. Proximity effect is greatly reduced, leading me to bypass my compressor for the entire show. This is an excellent microphone and will be my first choice in vocal mic selection going forward.
The KSM8 is a phenomenal mic for IEMs. It’s the only mic I can use with in-ears that sounds natural in the low end. It’s crazy how little processing and EQ it needs. The off-axis bleed is so clean that it immediately cleared up my in-ear mix.
Warm and natural! I barely used any EQ or processing, which is every engineer’s dream! I think you have a real winner here. The KSM8’s versatility sets it apart.
The KSM8 is stellar. I can say unequivocally that the KSM8 surpasses every other dynamic vocal mic I’ve tried. The polar pattern, proximity control, and flat top-end response give this mic a very wide and deep sweet spot that’s perfect for corporate events.
Al’s mic technique is as varied as his vocal stylings, which range from beatboxing and vocal percussion to quiet whispers. The KSM8 excels across the board at both FOH and monitors, which is rare. This mic makes mixing the band’s IEMs, monitors, and FOH much easier. It brings high-end clarity naturally, without the need for additional processing and EQ.
I used the wireless KSM8 for a corporate gig, and I love the off-axis response! The CEO got far away and off axis with minimal audible change. It was stable even in a very odd PA design. The working distance is huge on this mic and made my job so much easier!
The KSM8 capsule is a life-changer in monitor world, especially for in-ears. When Jennifer is moving between the PA, side fills, and the live band, and the audience starts screaming, the KSM8 gives me the clarity and control I need so that her vocal easily cuts through it all without bleeding.

Was macht das KSM8 so einzigartig?
Aufgrund der zweiten, passiven Membran bietet das KSM8 einen sehr großen Sweet Spot sowie marginale Nahbesprechungseffekte. Zusammen mit den neutralen Mitten und Höhen entsteht eine konsistente, natürliche Stimmwiedergabe, ungeachtet der Mikrofontechnik des Künstlers.
Wie unterscheiden sich Unidyne III und Dualdyne?
Die Unidyne III Kapsel (z.B. SM57/SM58) besitzt nur eine Membran mit einem pneumatischen Erschütterungsabsorber. Die Vorteile der Dualdyne Technologie liegen in der zweiten, zusätzlichen Membran begründet. Der Dualdyne Kapselaufbau besteht aus zwei extrem dünnen Membranen – einer aktiven, einer passiven – sowie einem invertierten Luftstromsystem.
